More than 4 years after its premiere, Okinum continues to inspire. After performances in Vancouver, Portland and French Guiana, the play will be presented on March 23 and 24 at Le Diamant theater in Quebec City.
Built like a prophecy, Okinum is an intimate reflection on the notion of inner dams, an ode to the power of dreams and intuition. The word is set free in order to go up the river of the ancestors’ memory and to reconcile, above all, with the different facets of a multiple identity.
