Onishka was one of the four laureates to be awarded the Jeunes Mécènes pour les Arts 2015 award. These awards are made up of personal donations from a group of young professionals in Montreal committed to support emerging creators that are innovative in their approach and artistic disciplines.
Montreal Arts Council preselected 10 applications from the 80 applications received. These preselected applications were then sent to the Jeunes Mécènes for a final decision.
The Jeunes Mécènes pour les Arts initiative reunites more than fifty men and women from the business community in Montreal. Together they develop a philanthropic action to financially support Montreal creativity, its blossoming and presentation.
