September 8-15, 2015 – A new creation phase took place last September for Tsekan. This eight-day residency was hosted by the artist run centre OBORO in Montreal and brought together artists Émilie Monnet, Waawaate Fobister, Caroline Monnet and Sabrina Ratté, as well as maori choreographer Charles Koroneho. Over eight days, the artists were able to film all video content for Tsekan and start exploring the relationships between video projections and bodies in space.
This residency was made possible with support from the Montreal Arts Council (Support to Emerging Practices Program) & OBORO’s Production Assistance Program.
