Discover below some first images of the work-in-progress of Nigamon\/Tunai<\/a> that was shared with the audience of Festival TransAm\u00e9riques on June 3-4.<\/p>\n

A sensory immersion among Indigenous voices, experiences, cosmovisions and struggles, Nigamon\/Tunai is a poetic manifesto born of the shared imagination of Waira Nina and \u00c9milie Monnet, inspired by their bonds of friendship and solidarity. Interweaving sound performance, breath and body work, and audio documentary, the work is the fruit of a decade of collaboration, exchange and encounters with Indigenous artists and activists from North and South. The space opened up for this lab made a lasting impression, and gave rise to lively exchanges after the performances. The work will continue until the premiere in spring 2024.<\/p>\n
